Overview
Computer Engineering (with Thesis) from Eastern Mediterranean University basic objectives can be outlined as follows: (1) to develop skills in the use of computer tools and in the application of computerized techniques, and to promote interdisciplinary research; (2) to stimulate independent study, critical and creative thinking; (3) to ensure a deeper understanding of the fundamental aspects of computer engineering area; (4) to provide opportunities for advanced specialization and creative research activities in computer engineering; and (5) to contribute to the education of prospective academicians.
Careers
Students successfully completing the graduation requirements are granted the BS degree in “Computer Engineering”. Graduates can find jobs as system administrators, application developers, software engineers, database administrators, software designers and can take part in computer aided industrial applications, or as engineers in research and development projects. Also, a significant number of our graduates are pursuing graduate level degrees and are becoming academic staff members in different universities.

- Applicants to M.S. program should have a B.S. degree in an engineering, mathematics or natural sciences field with a CGPA greater than 2.5/4.0.
- Attested photocopies of diplomas received from a university or equivalent institutions
- Documentation of scores received for English and academic proficiency exams/tests.
- Three letters of reference
- Give details of any grant/scholarships that you have already been awarded
- Statement of Purpose / Intention
- A photocopy of your passport or I.D. card
- Two passport-sized (approx. 6 cm x 5 cm) photographs.
