In this master's program, you will come into contact with professors who design devices to reduce the incidence of spinal cord injury, create biofuels with specific properties, develop protective equipment for factory workers and seek to improve the aerodynamics of wind turbines in Nordic environments. These are all projects of great concern to both public and private organizations.
What will you learn in the Master’s program?
In this ÉTS graduate program, you can specialize in aeronautical design, mechanical manufacturing, the mechanics of buildings, health technologies, or in mechanical or manufacturing systems.

General requirements
- Hold a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in mechanical engineering,electrical engineering, automated manufacturing engineering, manufacturing engineering, industrial engineering or a related field, with a grade point average (GPA) of at least 3.0 (out of 4.3) or equivalent;
- or have acquired the required knowledge, appropriate training and experience that is deemed to be relevant.
- A candidate who is deemed to be inadequately prepared may be required to take upgrading courses or a preparatory course.
- The candidate can be admitted on the basis of sufficient knowledge of English. In addition to the requirements of the program, the candidate must also successfully complete an out-of-program French course, appropriate to his or her level, to obtain a diploma.
- Candidates admitted on the basis of English must also provide proof that a faculty member has agreed to act as their thesis supervisor.
