The Department of Finance at International Islamic University of Malaysia introduced the Master of Science in Finance in 2001. This programme aims to provide students with both practical skill and theoretical knowledge that integrate Islamic concepts and values to enable them to become competent practitioners in both Islamic and conventional finance. 


The Department's strength are in the areas of Islamic Finance, Islamic Monetary System and Gold Dinar


Students may enrol on a full-time or part-time basis. Full-time students must enrol for a minimum of 9-12 credit hours per semester. Part-time students may register for 6 credit hours each semester

THE KULLIYYAH OF ECONOMICS AND MANAGEMENT SCIENCES at International Islamic University of Malaysia seeks to prepare students with the necessary knowledge and Islamic values to face the increasingly challenging world.  It offers students the unique opportunity of integrating conventional knowledge with Islamic knowledge in all fields of related studies. Established in 1983, the Kulliyyah having faculty members of eminence in various specialisations.

English is the medium of instruction for all programmes offered by the Kulliyyah. Currently, there are four departments offering various programmes, namely Department of Economics, Department of Business Administration, Department of Accounting and Department of Finance.
