Participants can choose to embark on either the Singapore-based track or the International track. The former will lead to a master’s degree from SMU, while the latter, a joint master’s degree from SMU and Cass Business School. 

With both schools situated in the heart of the two financial hubs of the world, there are ample opportunities for a new generation of quant professionals to make a difference in the financial industry. In addition to providing students with an international perspective of global financial markets and instruments, course contents are also customised to take into account the characteristics of Asian milieu.

GRE admission requirements GRE® The GRE® General Test is a widely administered admissions test that measures the skills needed in today's graduate and business school programs worldwide. It contains three sections - Verbal Reasoning, Quantitative Reasoning, and Analytical Writing. Three scores are reported: a Verbal Reasoning score on a 130 - 170 score scale in one-point increments, a Quantitative Reasoning score on a 130 - 170 score scale in one-point increments, and an Analytical Writing score on a 0 - 6 score scale in half-point increments.

  • A good GMAT/GRE or SMU Admission Test Score (GMAT institution code F8D-7V-97)*
  • SMU track - A good TOEFL/IELTS score is required if your degree was not taught in English (Applicants with TOEFL >90 and IELTS >6.5 are typically shortlisted for an interview.)
  • International track - An IELTS score of 7.0 overall (with 6.0 and above for all components) is required for all applicants choosing this track
