Overview
The Clinical Psychology program from University of Guam will emphasize the social, cultural and political contexts of research, theory, and practice in clinical psychology and encourage students to develop professional skills that are responsive to the unique multicultural communities in this region.
Specific objectives of the program are as follows:
- To prepare master’s level clinical psychologists to provide professional services, including clinical assessment and therapeutic interventions in the multicultural communities of Guam and the Micronesian region.
- To prepare master’s level clinical psychologists to conduct research examining mental health issues relevant to Guam and the Micronesian region.
- To prepare master’s level clinical psychologists for licensure as mental health professionals in Guam and the Micronesian region.
- To provide master’s level training that establishes the foundation for advanced study in clinical psychology at the doctoral level.

- Complete an application for Graduate Admission. Apply online here.
- Submit an official Bachelor's Transcript with degree conferred directly from issuing institution. If you earned your bachelor's degree from UOG, this requirement is waived.
- Submit the following: Letter of Intent and Statement, Resume, at least 2 signed Letters of Recommendation (some degree program requires 3), and proof of residency (refer to Residency Policy).
- Obtain Graduate Program Entry Form and submit a signed copy to Graduate Admissions Office.
- Submit health requirements (updated within 6 months for PPD, MMR 1 & 2) and Medical History Form.
- Once ALL requirements are met, you may register for courses: complete this registration form and submit.
