The M. D. in Radiotherapy from Amrita University is a three year Clinical Specialty course. Radiotherapy or Radiation therapy or Radiation Oncology is mostly used for the treatment of critical disorders like cancer, thyroid disorders and some blood disorders through the high energy X-rays.
After successful completion of the course, one can work as a Consultant Radiation Oncologist in hospital, clinic, and health department in both Governments as well as private sectors.
