180-point masters students must complete the following:
- Industry internship worth 60 points
- At least 45 points from technical skills courses
- At least 45 points from complementary skills courses
- Up to 30 points from other approved 600 or 700-level courses
120-point masters students must complete the following:
- Industry internship worth 60 points
- At least 45 points from complementary skills courses
- Up to 15 points from other approved 600 or 700-level courses
240-point masters students must complete the following:
- Industry internship worth 60 points
- 60 points: COMPSCI 718 and COMPSCI 719
- At least 45 points from technical skills courses
- At least 45 points from complementary skills courses
- Up to 30 points from other approved 600 or 700-level courses

Taught 120 points
- You must have completed one year of postgraduate study, following your undergraduate degree, with a GPE of 4.5. Your study must have been at a recognised university (or similar institution) and in an IT-related field.
Taught 180 points
- You must have completed an undergraduate degree at a recognised university (or similar institution) in an IT-related field with a GPE of 4.5.
Taught 240 points
- You must have completed an undergraduate degree, in any discipline, at a recognised university (or similar institution) with a GPA of 4.5. Relevant work experience may be considered.
