Overview
About the programme
Due to its consistently high achievement, the program was incorporated into the Master’s program of the Graduate school of Life and Environmental Sciences in 2007. This program in Environmental Sciences at the University of Tsukuba accepts students through general examination, cooperative graduate school examination, foreign student examination, career student examination and examination for the international collaborative program of environmental sciences and undertakes professional development and education of environmental practitioners.
Applicants from either humanities or the sciences may be admitted to this program, if they have the academic ability and wish to pursue environmental science which focuses on social contribution and the practical resolution of environmental problems.

- The general qualifications required for admission into the graduate programs of our university are as follows. For applicants falling under the conditions marked with *, there will be an examination in order to verify the qualification prior to the general submission of applications. In the case of applications that fall under conditions marked with ? , such an examination may be required.
- For further information concerning the details of the admission examination, please contact the Department of Educational Promotion, Division of Educational Promotion (for night courses, please contact the Academic Service Office for Business Sciences).
- In the general selection there is a foreign language test and an oral exam (interview). In the special selection, there is no foreign language test but an oral exam (interview). Please submit the results of TOEIC, TOEFL-iBT, IELTS, which you took in advance in a foreign language exam (Note).
