The Political Science at Brock University allows students to concentrate their studies on one of five sub-fields of political science: Canadian politics, comparative politics, international relations, political philosophy or public policy. Students specialize in one of these sub-fields but also receive training in the great works and research methodologies of the larger discipline of political science.

General requirements

To be considered for admission to a Master’s program, a student will normally hold a four year degree, or its equivalent, from an accredited university with a minimum 75% (mid-B) average over the last two years of full-time undergraduate study.
Three references are required.
A brief statement of your specific current academic interests and your intentions with regard to studies in a particular field of concentration. Tell us why you think our program is suited to your own special academic and research interests.
A current resume.
A copy of a paper that you have written for one of your university courses - it would be especially helpful if this essay falls within the area of interest you hope to pursue at the graduate level.
