Overview
Urban and Regional Planning students at Universiti Teknologi Malaysia are taught to understand and appreciate social, economic and political processes that shape cities and regions, and ways in which public policy can improve the quality of life. Ideas and concepts such as sustainability, governance, and regional economic development form the basis of the courses in the programme.

- A bachelor’s degree with good honours in a relevant field from Universiti Teknologi Malaysia or any other institutions of higher learning recognised by the UTM Senate;
- Other qualifications equivalent to a Bachelor’s degree and experience in a related field recognised by the UTM Senate.
