Overview
The Medicinal and Applied Chemistry department at Kaohsiung Medical University consists of nine professors, six associate professors, and five assistant professors. Fundamental subjects in our department include organic chemistry, inorganic chemistry, analytical chemistry, physical chemistry, biochemistry, and pharmaceutical chemistry. In 2007, the department was divided into two groups, Medicinal and Applied Chemistry, to help develop more focused expertise in our students.

- A bachelor's degree in chemistry or related life sciences and natural sciences from a domestic or foreign university recognized by M.O.E..
- A minimum GPA of B or 3.0
- Minimum English proficiency requirement:CEFR B1 or above, or alternatively, a school-issued document stating that any of the applicant's previous degree programs were conducted in English.
