The Department’s internationally renowned faculty members, state-of-the-art laboratories and well established research centres and laboratories for industrial control, computer- aided vehicle engineering, composites and computational fluid dynamics, attract Canadian and foreign students from a diversity of cultures and backgrounds.

The MEng in Industrial Engineering program offered by Concordia University Montréal is a course-based program designed to provide practicing engineers the opportunity to strengthen and extend knowledge they acquired at the undergraduate level, to further develop their analytical skills, and to enhance their ability to comprehend and solve complex and advanced technology concepts.

Your GPA (Grade Point Average) is calculated using the grades that you received in each course, and is determined by the points assigned to each grade (e.g. for the US grading scale from A-F).

General Requirements

Applicants to the MEng Program must hold a bachelor’s degree in engineering or equivalent with high standing. Applicants with a bachelor’s degree in architecture with high engineering content may also be considered for the MEng program. Such students will be required to enrol in an extended program. The GCS Graduate Studies Committee will determine the acceptability of an applicant for admission to the program and may require an applicant to take specified undergraduate courses in order to qualify for acceptance.
