The Department of Electrical Engineering aims to combine the social progress with the requirements for economic development and to cultivate specialists in modern electrical engineering with essential capabilities of mathematics, physics and other knowledge of humanities. The students are expected to have the capabilities of technology integration and innovation, the teamwork spirits, persistence on research, discreet attitude on ethical and social responsibility, and proactive and international vision.

This department has some learning goals to:

  • Teach the students about basic and professional knowledge, training analysis, designing, planning, implementing, problem solving and the capability for further research.
  • Make the students experience a life-long self-learning habit and have the ability for innovation.
  • Train the students about spirit of cooperation, and improve their coordination and communication skills.
  • Teach about professional ethical and social responsibility.
  • Give students an international perspective and forward-looking vision.

Programme Structure

  • The required number of credits for a master student is 24.
  • The required number of credits for an exchange student is at least 8.
  • In addition, 4-credit English courses and two zero-credit but compulsory seminar courses in
  • two semesters. The seminar courses will not be registered automatically in school system and
  • therefore you need to register the seminar courses by yourself.
  • Additional course requirement from your advisor.
