General requirements
- A first or second-class Honours degree (or equivalent qualification). Applicants are required to have gained GCSE passes at Grade C or above in English Language, Science and Mathematics.
- Completion of pre-entry Skills Tests in Literacy and Numeracy as required by the Department of Education. Please note that skills test passes only remain valid for 3 years from the date of the test you passed.
- Applicants are advised to access the Department for Education (DfE) website for general information. This guidance sets out the DfE requirements for gaining Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and identifies the minimum academic requirements that candidates must meet to be eligible for admission.
