Languages for Communication in International Enterprises and Organisations, Master

  • Application Deadline
  • 24 months
University rank #351 (WUR) ,
This master's degree program combines advanced linguistic, economic, and legal competences which enable students to understand and manage the different aspects of intercultural negotiations in companies and organizations operating at a national and supranational level.

Great attention is paid to the development of language skills. Students are streamed into small groups for language tuition classes and are expected to reach a C2 and C1 level of competence (European Framework of Reference) in their two chosen languages of study, at the end of the two-year program. Advanced competences in the legal, economic, administrative and political fields are acquired through a close scrutiny of the way companies and organizations strategically manage their economic, financial, and legal procedures, in the awareness that the adopted cultural approaches, structural models, and communication techniques should facilitate negotiations with international stakeholders. The lectures are enriched with contributions from external professional experts, so as to provide students with a first-hand contact with the operational reality of the various business sectors.
