Description
The SOAS Master’s Scholarship (International) is designed to recognise and award overseas applicants with outstanding academic performance.
Benefits
SOAS is offering over 150 International Master’s Scholarships valued at £8,000 in the form of tuition fee waivers to new students beginning their studies in the academic year.
Eligibility
- You must hold an offer for a full-time Postgraduate Taught (on campus) programme.
- You must be an overseas fee-paying student.
- You must hold a minimum UK upper second-class (2:1) or international equivalent.
- You must not be in receipt of any other SOAS scholarship or full-fee scholarship/sponsorship from any other source
- All joint partnership programmes are ineligible for this scholarship.
Please note that if you have applied for a 2-year programme, the scholarship will be applied to the first year of tuition fees only.

Applicants can apply for the International Scholarship via the online form. You should save a copy of your application form for your records. If you wish to print a copy of the application form please do so before clicking SUMBIT.
Please do not submit more than one scholarship application. If you applied as part of the earlier rounds of the International Postgraduate Scholarship and are not successful, you will automatically be considered for subsequent rounds of funding.
The deadline for each award round is:
First round - 28 February GMT+11:59pm
Second round - 30 April BST+11:59pm
Third round - 30 June BST+11:59pm
