Description
Scholarships will be awarded on a competitive basis to candidates who demonstrate excellent academic performance (current and/ or previously gained) and any relevant extra-curricular or professional experience.
Scholarships will be awarded on a rolling basis. Awards may be allocated early in the application cycle and so making an early application for admission is advised.
Benefits
Scholarships of £6,000 are available to new international fee-paying students joining an eligible postgraduate taught masters degree in the Faculty of Science in September.
Eligibility
In order to be considered for a Faculty of Science International Masters Scholarship, candidates must:
- be a new, international (non-EU) fee-paying student enrolling on an on-campus, full-time taught masters degree in one of the following departments in September 2026:
- Department of Computer & Information Sciences
- Department of Mathematics & Statistics
- Department of Pure & Applied Chemistry
- Strathclyde Institute of Pharmacy & Biomedical Sciences
- Be self-funded. Students who receive full sponsorship, for example from a government office or embassy are not eligible to receive this scholarship.
