Any postgraduate research student will receive an award based on an assessment of the information provided on the application and financial need.

The scholarship is worth up to £3,000.
Eligibility
- Be a current postgraduate research student studying within the Department of Philosophy; full-time or part-time.
- Be in financial need.
- Have not received a university or UKRI-related stipend (that is, currently receiving a maintenance scholarship).
- Receive annual funding less than £19,237 from external sources.
Exemptions from these criteria will be considered only in exceptional and well-motivated circumstances.
