Description
If you are a fully self-funded international student who has studied for an undergraduate degree at the University of Surrey campus in Guildford, you may be eligible for a 20 per cent discount on the first year of fees for the Medicine (Graduate Entry) BMBS programme, starting in September.
Benefits
This scholarship is automatically awarded to eligible candidates. The discount of twenty per cent only applies to the first year of the Medicine (Graduate Entry) BMBS programme.
Eligibility
In order to be eligible applicants must:
- Be an overseas fee paying student.
- Have completed their undergraduate programme at the University of Surrey.
- Hold an offer to study the full-time Medicine (Graduate Entry) BMBS course in September.
- Be self-funded (you must be paying for your studies independently rather than being sponsored or in receipt of another scholarship).
Students graduating in the summer of may be eligible, as well as alumni from previous years, on receipt of evidence of the award from Surrey and where we can identify that you studied in Guildford.
Associated institution students are not eligible.

Application deadline
The University will identify eligible students, so there is no application form for this scheme.
For eligible students, you must have firmly accepted your offer and enrolled on the course in September. If you pay any tuition fees in advance, then the twenty per cent discount is deducted from the remaining balance.
This means the tuition fee invoice, which will be emailed to your university email account sometime during October/November will reflect the actual balance due.
