Description
Prospective postgraduate research students can apply for financial support towards their University or private accommodation costs. The award will be paid towards University accommodation fees in the first instance; students transferring to privately owned accommodation (including privately owned properties let through the University) will receive the award as monthly maintenance payments.

A number of awards are available of £1,750 per annum for the course duration. Selection is based on financial need.
Eligibility
- You must have applied for a postgraduate research programme: MPhil, PhD, MSc(Res), MSt(Res), EngD, MFA.
- Eligible applicants must have a gross annual household income of under £40,000 or a below average household income in their country of residence, and articulate a need for support through a personal financial statement (further details below).
- Household income will be assessed on below average country-specific income rates.

This scholarship is available through the Accommodation Award - Postgraduate Research Degree application in the Scholarships and Funding catalogue, in the Scholarships and Funding section of My Application.
