Description
Each year LSE awards a number of scholarships, funded by private or corporate donations. The number, value, eligibility criteria and type of scholarships vary from year to year.
All scholarships are awarded on the basis of financial circumstances in the first instance, and secondly take into account academic merit.
The Jennifer Pinney Masters Scholarship is a generous fund established in honour of Jennifer Pinney who was a former retired member of staff having spent 25 years at LSE. She delivered LSE’s first major fundraising campaign for the redevelopment of the LSE Library in the 1970s and was highly regarded as a pioneering higher education fundraiser by her peers across LSE and the UK HE sector.
