Description

Since childhood, Wilma felt no child should ever be left alone. Her experiences made her more sensitive to the needs of others. She developed a strong commitment to social work while serving underprivileged families and, with her husband, established an endowed scholarship for nontraditional social work students.

Eligibility

  • 25 years of age or older (preference given to older students).
  • Enrolled in good standing at Illinois State.
  • At least a 2.50 GPA for undergraduates and 3.0 GPA for graduates.
  • Demonstrated financial need through FAFSA filing.
