Description

The Staton Scholarship is offered to graduate students.

Addressing the 2016 IMD MBA class, Woods Staton, CEO, Chairman of the Board and controlling shareholder of Arcos Dorados Holdings Inc. – McDonald’s largest franchisee in the world – said that the year he spent gaining skills in IMD’s MBA program was one of the most important in his life.

Mr Woods Staton attended IMD in 1976 and after he obtained his MBA, he returned to his family business in Colombia. He launched the MBA Staton Scholarship in 2002. In a 2016 interview, he shared insights into his remarkable career path.

You may apply for multiple scholarships, however scholarships are non-cumulative, therefore you will not be selected for more than one. In addition, scholarships are reserved for those who are not sponsored by their company.

Please note that if the scholarship recipient does not return to LATAM after graduation, the scholarship becomes a loan instead.
