Description
The James H. Ring Graduate Scholarship Award is designed to recognize graduate students with an outstanding academic record in the Master of Urban Planning program and provide financial support to help complete their graduate studies. This award is made possible through the generous donation of James H. Ring, a distinguished alumnus, who graduated from the Department of Urban Studies and Planning in the class of 1972.

Eligibility
- Be a graduate student currently enrolled in the second year of Master of Urban Planning (MUP) degree program.
- Have completed a minimum of 18 graduate units in the MUP program at CSUN.
- Have a minimum of 3.5 GPA.
- Have a demonstrated interest in the planning profession through either employment/internship, professional service, participation in conferences, or community engagement
