Description
University merit scholarships at The U provide funding to help cover a portion of or all tuition and mandatory fees for students enrolled full-time.
Benefits
$3,000 per year (fall and spring semesters). University merit scholarships at The U provide funding to help cover a portion of or all tuition and mandatory fees for students enrolled full-time, up to the lesser of the scholarship award amount or the amount of tuition and mandatory fees.
University merit scholarships are renewable for up to eight semesters (for first-time, first year awardees) or up to four semesters (for transfer awardees), or until you receive a baccalaureate degree, whichever comes first, as long as you continue to meet scholarship requirements. Merit scholarships generally do not apply to summer enrollment.
Eligibility
- Non-resident First-Time, First-Year students and transfer students.
- Must be pursuing a first bachelor’s degree; parent or grandparent must hold a degree from University of Utah.
