Description
The following merit scholarship is available to international students in the first year.
Benefits
They award eligible students discounts of £1,000 (up to the maximum of £3,000) for each A or A* grade for courses run by:
Biological Science
Geography and Environmental Science
Ocean and Earth Science
Psychology
For example, if you need A, A and B in your A levels and you get A, A and A, you will get £3,000 towards your first year tuition fees.
The most you can get is £3,000. The scholarships apply only to the first year of your tuition fees.
Eligibility
To be eligible for a scholarship you must:
- need to pay the overseas tuition fee
- have a conditional or unconditional offer to study an eligible course
- be starting in Year 1 of an eligible course
Other eligibility criteria depend on which school offers your course.
Please note that merit scholarships for international undergraduate students are awarded based on standard academic programme eligibility criteria as displayed on individual course pages.
