Description
The scholarship is intended for current Kent students who received the Kent Financial Support Package during their final undergraduate year or can demonstrate that they meet its eligibility criteria. Twelve awards are available.
Benefits
Full-time UK students: £5,000 towards tuition fees.Part-time UK students: £2,500 per year.
Eligibility
Eligible candidates must:
- Be progressing directly from undergraduate to postgraduate study at Kent, having completed the undergraduate programme.
- Begin postgraduate study.
- Have received the Kent Financial Support Package (KFSP) during their final year of undergraduate study or can evidence that they meet the criteria while still registered.
- Have received an unconditional offer for a programme. If you have not received an unconditional offer (or a conditional offer where the only outstanding condition(s) is your fee deposit and/or your final results), the application will be rejected and the next eligible candidate will be selected.
- Postgraduate Taught programmes only. Postgraduate Research Master’s students are not eligible due to its lower fee.
- MArch students who are direct entrants from an UG degree are eligible. Postgraduate Certificate or Diploma Students are not eligible.

Applications for the Widening Participation Ambition Scholarship should be made before the deadline via your application portal, where you will be able to view any scholarships for which you may be eligible to apply.
You will need to have received a formal offer for your programme in order to submit a scholarship application.
