Description
The scholarship covers the full programme tuition fee at the UK Home rate. Selection is based on academic achievement, motivation, the applicant’s writing sample, references and an interview.

Eligibility
Applicants must be resident in the UK and have been awarded an undergraduate degree in English Literature, American Studies or a related subject with a classification of 2:1 or higher.
Applications will be assessed and awarded on the basis of the following:
- Record of academic achievement
- Motivation for study
- Writing Sample
- References (shortlisted candidates only)
- Interview (shortlisted candidates only)
Any materials you wish us to consider should be appended to your MA application and not sent separately.
All candidates who have applied for place on a taught MA programme in English and American Literature will automatically be considered for the scholarship, regardless of their fee status, nationality or domicile.
