Description

The bursary supports eligible UK care leavers studying full-time or part-time at a University of Greenwich campus or eligible partner college.

Benefits

£1,500 per year for up to three or four years, depending on the course length.

Eligibility

You will need to meet the following criteria to be eligible for the Care Leaver Bursary:

  • You are a permanent resident in the UK and have been assessed as home student for fee purpose
  • You are aged under 25  at the start of your course
  • You are a full-time or part-time undergraduate or postgraduate taught student at any of our three campuses or Partner Colleges, where your tuition fees are paid directly to the University of Greenwich.
  • You qualify for and receive the maximum level of means-tested maintenance loan or Postgraduate loan as assessed by the Student Loans Company
  • You should  provide a letter from your local authority (on headed paper) which confirms your care leaver status
