Description

The department of Classics, Ancient History and Archaeology, is pleased to announce that the Carr-Smith endowment will fund three scholarships for MA Antiquity: Classics and Ancient History for the academic year. Students from groups under-represented in postgraduate study of the ancient world and Birmingham Scholars are particularly encouraged to apply.

The Carr-Smith endowment will fund three £5,000 scholarships for MA Antiquity: Classics and Ancient History.

Eligibility

  • Both UK-based and international students are able to apply for this award.
  • To be eligible, you must have applied for the MA Antiquity: Classics and Ancient History programme (full-time or part-time), to commence your studies at the start of the academic year. In the case of part-time students, the stipend will be paid across the two years.
  • Applications for funding can only be considered alongside an application to study.
