Description
The scholarship is available to self-funded international students domiciled in eligible African countries who have received an offer to study a postgraduate taught course. Awards are made based on academic excellence and potential.

Up to £5,000 tuition fee discount.
Eligibility

Applicants must be classed as overseas fee payers. If the fee status of the applicant changes after the scholarship application is made, then the University will need to remove the scholarship.

Applicants must have applied for and received an offer to study at Swansea University (Singleton Park Campus and Bay Campus)
- Students studying for a PhD, MPhil, Masters by Research, MRes, Graduate Diploma in Law, Go Global Visiting, Exchange or Erasmus Mundus programme are not eligible to apply for this scholarship.

Students studying Taught Undergraduate and Taught Postgraduate programmes of study with course fees of £16,000 or above per year are eligible to apply.

Students who will undertake part-time study are not eligible to apply.

Students studying at or progressing from ‘The College Swansea University’ are not eligible to apply for this scholarship.
- Students whose course fees are lower than £16,000 per year are not eligible to apply.

Students progressing from Undergraduate to Postgraduate Taught programmes are eligible to apply.
