Description

The studentship is available to Queen Mary graduates (or those about to graduate) from a Black and Global Majority background who are applying for an eligible full-time Master's programme in the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences.

LLM and MSc programmes in Law and Legal Studies are excluded.

Eligibility

To be eligible to apply for this Studentship you must: 

  • have been accepted for entry on a full time Master’s degree offered by the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences in any of the disciplines covered by the AHRC (except LLM and MSc degrees in Law and Legal Studies);
  • be a UK permanent resident from a Black and Global Majority background, and eligible to pay UK student fees;
  • be a graduate of Queen Mary or in their graduating year.

    To apply, you will need to provide:

    A copy of your offer letter to study a relevant Master’s course at Queen Mary, or your application ID number if you do not yet know the outcome of your application;

    A copy of your digital transcript (showing marks and grades obtained as a student at Queen Mary);

    A completed application form, including a short statement of no more than 500 words detailing why you should be considered for the award and what motivated your interest in a Master’s degree at Queen Mary.
