Description

Durham University  can support you financially if you are admitted to one of its study programmes as an international student.

Durham University awards scholarships, bursaries, tuition fee reductions and discounts that help you cover existing tuition and living costs. 

Benefits

£3,000 per year

Can be paid towards tuition fee costs, accommodation or directly into the recipient's bank account in termly instalments

Eligibility

Applicant should:

  • have a household income below £42,875 (as assessed by Student Finance)
  • be the first generation in their immediate family to attend university - immediate family relates to parents and siblings
  • ideally have attended a state school

Applications are also welcome from candidates from the following groups; black and minority ethnic students (BAME), caregivers, care leavers and disabled students

A reference from one of your teachers in support of your scholarship application to be sent by email Please ensure your referee submits the reference on letter headed paper or from a school e-mail account which contains:

  • your full name
