Description
Awarded to high-achieving students who select Lancaster as their firm choice, the Undergraduate Excellence Scholarship – Home rewards your academic success and your commitment to joining our diverse, supported and thriving student community.
Benefits
The total value of the award is £3,000.
If you start your studies in 2026 the scholarship will be paid in two equal instalments in your first year of study.
If you start your studies in 2027 the scholarship will be paid to you as £1,000 each year for three years.
Eligibility
You will be offered one of these scholarships if you:
- achieve A*AA and above at A level (or the equivalent in an alternative qualification), with at least five GCSE’s grade A/7 or above
- make Lancaster University your firm UCAS choice
- are a full-time Home fee paying applicant
Scholarships for international students joining in 2027 are still under development, as we are working to enhance our offer and provide the best possible opportunities for applicants.
