Description
Funded by NHS England, the scholarship helps internationally qualified sonographers gain a CASE-accredited Postgraduate Certificate in Clinical Ultrasound and Level 7 recognition in the UK. The programme provides a structured pathway to bridge differences between overseas and UK ultrasound practice, enabling graduates to register with the Register of Clinical Technologists (RCT).
Benefits
Full tuition fee funding for the funded 30-credit Clinical Ultrasound module.
Eligibility
These scholarships are open to:
- Internationally Qualified Sonographers recruited by NHS trusts via the Community Diagnostic Centre (CDC) International Recruitment programme
- Internationally Qualified Sonographers (any country) who are already working in the UK National Health Service (NHS) as non-obstetrics Sonographers, in a full-time substantive post, having been in post for a minimum of 18 months to two years

Personal statement/portfolio introduction.

Placement agreement.
English language evidence (if required).
