Description

This Treis Scholarship is available to new entrants only. Students already studying the course are not eligible.

Benefits

The two successful Scholars will receive a cash bursary of £7,000 per annum. The award is for a maximum of 4 years, excluding repeat periods of study and subject to satisfactory academic progress.

Eligibility

Candidates must have attained the three requirements below by the deadline:

  • Have a conditional firm or unconditional offer of admission from the College to study an undergraduate course in one of the following eligible departments: Department of Chemical Engineering, Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering, Dyson School of Design Engineering, Department of Electrical and Electronic Engineering, or the Department of Mechanical Engineering
  • Possess a Home fee status
  • Have been assessed for financial support through their local funding authority (SFE, SFW, SAAS or SFNI), with a verified household income of less than £70,000 per annum

There is no separate application form that you need to complete in order to apply for this scholarship. However, you must follow two steps: 

Step 1: Submit a student finance application and be 'means-tested' by Student Finance England (SFE) or equivalent funding authority.

Step 2: Submit a UCAS application form for your course of study and have an offer of admission in one of the eligible departments by the deadline.
