Description

This Jack Hirst Scholarship applies to the following postgraduate Chemistry programmes:

MRes in Advanced Molecular Synthesis

MRes in Biological and Physical Chemistry

MRes in Catalysis: Chemistry and Engineering

MRes in Chemical Biology and Bio-Entrepreneurship

MSc in Digital Chemistry

MRes in Drug Discovery and Development: Multidisciplinary Science for Next Generation Therapeutics

MRes in Green Chemistry, Energy and the Environment

MRes in Nanomaterials

MRes in Synthetic Cells course

Benefits

Full tuition fees at the Overseas rate and a stipend equivalent to the annual UKRI rate.

Eligibility

This scholarship is open to applicants who meet all of the following criteria:

  • You are a Nigerian national.
  • You are currently studying or conducting research in Chemistry at a Nigerian academic institution at the time of your application.
  • You have received an offer for a place on one of the eligible Chemistry Master’s courses at Imperial College London for 2026 entry.
  • You are not a continuing student (i.e., you must be starting a new course in 2026).
