Description
The bursaries are designed to widen participation in postgraduate study by supporting eligible HYMS medical students undertaking an intercalated degree. The bursary is awarded as a cash payment equivalent to 50% of the tuition fees for the intercalated programme to help with living costs. Eligible students may receive this bursary in addition to the Hull York Medical School Bursary.

Eligibility
Applicants must:
- Hold an offer (conditional or unconditional) for an eligible intercalated degree at Hull York Medical School.
- Pay UK (Home) tuition fees.
- Start the programme in September.
- Have a household income below £25,000.
- Meet at least one widening participation criterion (e.g. contextual or alternative offer eligibility for MB BS Medicine or Medicine with a Gateway Year).
