Description
The Chevening Scholarship is the UK Government's flagship international scholarship programme, funded by the Foreign, Commonwealth & Development Office (FCDO) and partner organisations.
Hartpury University participates as a host institution, allowing eligible students to use the scholarship for any eligible one-year taught Master's programme at the university.
The scholarship is intended for future leaders with strong academic backgrounds and leadership potential who are committed to returning to their home country to contribute to its development after completing their studies.
Benefits
The scholarship covers:
Full tuition fees.
Monthly living allowance.
Return economy airfare to and from the UK.
UK visa application fee.
Arrival and departure allowances.
Additional approved Chevening allowances.
Eligibility
Applicants must:
- Be a citizen of a Chevening-eligible country or territory.
- Return to their home country for at least two years after completing the scholarship.
- Hold an undergraduate degree equivalent to a UK bachelor's degree.
- Have at least 2,800 hours (approximately two years) of work experience.
- Apply for an eligible one-year taught Master's programme at Hartpury University.
- Apply through the Chevening Scholarship application system and obtain an unconditional offer from at least one eligible UK university.
