Funded by The Clothworkers' Company, the scholarship aims to support students pursuing careers in the textile and fashion industries while helping those with financial need. Each year, the scholarship funds:

Two undergraduate students on BA (Hons) Contour Fashion.

Two postgraduate students on:

MSc/MA Contour Fashion Innovation

MSc Sustainable Textile Technologies.

Benefits

Undergraduate: £5,000 per year of study.

Postgraduate: £5,000 for the one-year master's programme.

Eligibility

Undergraduate applicants must:

  • Have made DMU their firm choice for BA (Hons) Contour Fashion.
  • Be a Home fee-paying student.
  • Apply for Student Finance and be income assessed.
  • Demonstrate financial need, with a household income of £50,000 or less.
  • Be self-funded.
  • Not hold another donor- or university-funded scholarship.

Postgraduate applicants must:

Hold an offer for:

  • MSc/MA Contour Fashion Innovation, or
  • MSc Sustainable Textile Technologies.
  • Study full-time.
  • Be a Home fee-paying student.
  • Demonstrate financial need.
  • Be self-funded.
  • Not hold another donor- or university-funded scholarship.
