Description

The Colin and Francis Glynne-Jones Bursary: English Literature & Creative Writing is offered by Bangor University's School of Arts, Culture and Languages to students enrolling on eligible undergraduate degree programmes in English Literature and/or Creative Writing. The bursary was established through a donation from the Glynne-Jones family to support students showing academic promise. Up to four bursaries are awarded each year, with successful recipients receiving the award during their first year of study only.

Benefits

The bursary provides up to £2,000 to help students with the cost of their undergraduate studies. The award is paid during the first year of study only.

Eligibility

  • Must be a UK student.
  • Must have applied for and enrol on an eligible BA degree in English Literature and/or Creative Writing at Bangor University.
  • Must commence the course in the relevant academic year.
  • Must be enrolled full-time or part-time.
  • Must have attended a secondary school/college in Wales and/or be normally resident in Wales.
