Description
This scholarship is named after Professor Frank Wallace, a pioneer in diesel engine turbocharging research, and awarded on behalf of his family.
Professor Frank Wallace was born in Munich but left Germany in 1939 at the age of 15, and was educated at Monkton Combe School on the edge of Bath. He won a scholarship to the University of Birmingham, where he was both an undergraduate and postgraduate student.
This scholarship is open to eligible offer-holders in the People’s Republic of China.

Eligibility
You can apply for this scholarship if you are in the People’s Republic of China and:
- have a confirmed offer to study MSc Automotive Engineering with Business Management, MSc Automotive Engineering with Electrical Propulsion, MSc Automotive Technology or MSc Automotive Technology with Business Management for 2026 at the University of Bath
- have firmly accepted your conditional or unconditional offer

To apply you must first hold an offer for an eligible master's course. You can then complete the University of Bath scholarship application form using Application Tracker when application open.
They will ask you to complete three questions as part of the scholarship application process.
