Description

Romy Waterlow spent the last eight years of her life working as a counsellor in the area of HIV/AIDS at the Royal North Shore Hospital and within the North Shore community.

This scholarship was established in 1998 to provide financial assistance to counsellors in the area of HIV/AIDS.

The Scholarship is valued at $10,000.

Eligibility

You must:

  • be enrolled in Master of Social Work (Qualifying), master's by research or PhD in Sydney School of Education and Social Work
  • have a degree or diploma in social welfare, social work, psychology or a related area
  • evidence of program completion and/or of training in HIV/AIDS
  • have at least two years experience working in HIV/AIDS
  • be a counsellor in the area of HIV/AIDS.
