Eligibility
Nominees should demonstrate their commitment to DEI by the following:
- Exhibiting leadership that demonstrates inclusive excellence through positive engagement with students, faculty, and staff of different lifestyles, cultural backgrounds, and identities.
- Demonstrating a commitment to advocacy and higher education practices related to diversity, equity, and inclusion within the School of Health Professions.
- Demonstrating respect and humility to all individuals, promoting an inclusive learning environment.
Applicants must meet the following criteria:
- Enrolled in UAB School of Health Professions' undergraduate program
- Demonstrate Academic Excellence
- Provide a Resume/CV
- Provide a concise, informative description of how you have contributed to diversity, equity and inclusive excellence within the School of Health Professions
- Provide a concise, informative description of how you have contributed to diversity, equity and inclusive excellence at UAB.
- Provide a concise, informative description of how you have contributed to diversity, equity and inclusive excellence within your community.
