Description
The Academic Affairs Scholarship is a scholarship based on the financial need and academic achievements of current full-time UAB students.

Eligibility
- Must be currently enrolled in, or admitted to, a degree-seeking program in the College of Arts and Sciences, Collat School of Business, School of Education, or School of Engineering at UAB.
- Must demonstrate solid academic promise and have at least an overall 3.0- grade point average in coursework completed before the time of application.
- Must demonstrate financial need determined by the UAB Financial Aid Office.
- Must be a U.S. citizen or permanent resident.

Students interested in these scholarships should complete the BSMART Scholarship Application in the Blazer Scholarship Management and Resource Tool (BSMART). Completing the application submits student information to many departments on campus for scholarship consideration. Undergraduate students can complete the BSMART Scholarship Application beginning August 1.
