University of Queensland can support you financially if you are admitted to one of its study programmes as an international student.
University of Queensland awards scholarships, bursaries, tuition fee reductions and discounts that help you cover existing tuition and living costs.

Eligibility
You're eligible if you:
- are an international student.
- hold a passport from Latin America. *
* Brazil, Chile, Colombia, Mexico, Peru, Argentina, Belize, Costa Rica, El Salvador, Guatemala, Honduras, Nicaragua, Panama, Bolivia, Ecuador, French Guiana, Guyana, Paraguay, Suriname, Uruguay, Venezuela, Cuba, Dominican Republic, Haiti, Guadeloupe, Martinique, Puerto Rico, Saint-Barthélemy, Saint-Martin, Jamaica, Bahamas, and Trinidad and Tobago.
And you:
- have applied to study full-time at UQ commencing in 2024 and have received an offer in an eligible program. This includes most undergraduate and postgraduate programs with some exceptions. Check the scholarship terms and conditions to find out if your program is eligible.
- have satisfied the program entry rank and English language proficiency requirements.
- will enrol full-time.
And you have not:
- received another scholarship, tuition fee reduction or rebate from UQ.
- received a full scholarship/sponsorship from another organisation (applicants with partial scholarships/sponsorships may be considered).
