KU Leuven is definitely on of the leaders among all universities in Europe. It could be said that the whole city is "ruled" by university as university institutions are almost everywhere. Quality of live and diversity of students there is very high., what can't be said about cost of living. To my mind, it is one of the best Erasmus destinations.
