In addition to the new cafeteria with up to 5,000 meals per day, the new modern lecture hall attracts attention due to its striking architecture and coloring. In contrast to these, there are also the over 100-year old historical buildings which are used by the university which achieved great military importance particularly during the first world war and during the period of the British occupation in Osnabrück.
