Schloss Hofen is the Science and Continuing Education Centre for the State of Vorarlberg and FH Vorarlberg. It offers continuing education and Master's programmes, some of which are conducted in cooperation with domestic and foreign universities.

The central functions are coordination of international relations at the University, setting up and maintaining the partner network, the organisation of semesters spent abroad of both outgoing and incoming students and also for lecturers.

The FH Vorarlberg buildings have numerous lecture theatres and seminar rooms, tLab (Technical Lab) with severallab parts, a video and audio lab, computer lab, multimedai room, meeting room and offices, library, media centre. Eating facilities and a cafeteria are also on site.
Vorarlberg University of Applied Sciences (FH Vorarlberg) and its degree programmes are accredited for an unlimited period by the Austrian Agency for Quality Assurance and Accreditation.
