Though it gained legality in 1994, the root is in 1874 when the college was found. Then it was the college college sample drawing for decomposing, composing and, later, Textile and Fashion Institute of Berlin, and later school of engineering for garment making, since 1990. In 1948 the Engineering School of Mechanical, Electrical and Civil Engineering was found.
With a student body of more than 13,000, the Hochschule für Technik und Wirtschaft (HTW) Berlin is the largest University of Applied Sciences in Berlin. With around 70 Bachelor’s and Master’s courses in Engineering, Economics, Information Technology, Culture and Design the study programme offers a wide range. The Admission & Enrolment Office is responsible for all issues relating to applications, admission and enrolment at HTW Berlin. It also deals with all questions regarding your re-registration for each new study semester. The team is responsible for checking your application, conducting the admission procedure and processing applications for external leave, part-time study and de-registration as well as changes in personal details.
All single apartments have their own kitchen and bathroom. The rooms are equipped with a closet, book shelf, bed, desk and a kitchen unit with a stove and shelves.
The Central Library on the Campus Treskowallee is located in a number of buildings across the campus. This decision was taken for historical reasons. The central library is subdivided into the following areas:
The IT Support Team of the HRZ is the first point of contact of all HTW members for IT questions. In addition to three permanent employees, student assistants work in IT support.
The Wilhelminenhof campus is located in Oberschöneweide in the Treptow-Köpenick district in the South East of Berlin. Located directly on the Spree and steeped in history, this former industrial complex has been transformed into a modern centre for science. The imposing buildings have been sensitively refurbished and complemented by new buildings. HTW Berlin took up residence in the first building in 2006.
I am ready to join this course which has an equal inclination towards data science technology and business project management which makes it a good course to study in and become future ready for the needs of current industry! I think this is apt training for the rising data economies of the world.
